Bacik Group, LLC is a verified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and has responded to several Hurricane disasters. We have responded after Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Florence, and Hurricane Michael to assist in the restoration of military installations including repair, alteration, renovation, and new construction on the East coast and Gulf of Mexico. After Hurricane Harvey, we responded by providing shelter set up and operations for those displaced after the hurricane in Houston, TX.
Our services have been provided to the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and FEMA as a major subcontractor performing various types of work including debris removal, roofing repairs, and mold remediation. We have provided evacuation shelters for FEMA which included initially setting up shelters, maintaining shelters, as well as staffing support for shelters. Our support includes teams of project managers, operation managers, safety officers, mechanics, carpenters, general laborers, and roofers.
Bacik Group works with leadership regularly to ensure safety goals and quality standards are consistently achieved. We work with our partners and project stakeholders to perform all projects. We have experience performing a broad range of stand-alone and IDIQ type projects that have prepared Bacik to deliver the best value and quality solution for most disaster response needs.

In the disaster response arena, Bacik Group is known for our rapid deployment of “boots on the ground” stabilization and mitigation of sensitive military installations impacted by natural disasters as well as our subject matter expertise in interagency economic recovery operations.
We have deployed teams to perform impact assessments at most major hurricane sites in the Southeastern United States since 2017, including Hurricanes Irma, Florence, Michael, Dorian, Laura, Sally, Zeta, Delta, and Ian. We have fulfilled significant contracts on military installations (examples: Naval Air Station Key West, and Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Experimental Dive Unit in Panama City, and Naval Ordinance Test Unit ‘NOTU’ Cape Canaveral 45th Space Wing,).
During our most recent disaster response project, we deployed more than 25 team members to Guam to help stabilize, mitigate, and rebuild Naval Base Guam and Andersen Air Force Base after Typhoon Mawar hit in May 2023.
